What do you get when you combine 15 wineries, 4 friends, lots wine & cider? SO MUCH FUN! This past weekend was Harvest Stompede, a wine tour on Leelanau Peninsula’s Wine Trail.
Harvest Stompede
featured a wine/cider tasting with a food pairing at each of the 27 wineries, as well as 2+ additional tastings. It was such a wonderful way to test out and see each winery. We were able to make it to 15 wineries, below are the wineries we went to, and my general thoughts of each one! (I’m not commenting on the actual wine because I am hardly a wine connoisseur)

Overall, Harvest Stompede was a BLAST. We all had tons of fun, even my partner, David, who doesn’t drink had fun seeing each winery and sampling the food. I’m looking forward to going back to some of my favorite wineries, as well as hopefully signing up for Toast the Season, another wine tour in November.
