Welcome! To Quar-wine-tine Time, your weekly wine tasting session, from indoors! I’ll be trying various wines, ciders, and beers all from Michigan, all that can be available via curb-side pickup, found in your local grocery store, or shipped.
Today feature is…
Good Harbor Vineyards
Good Harbor is a winery in Lake Leelanau, located on M-22 just south of downtown Leland. They are family owned and operating and have been growing grapes for 40 years!
The wine featured today is their
Fishtown White
Hello! This is the best white wine. EVER! This is a dry table white, and has my Aunt’s friend would put it, “it’s a porch pounder!” (aka you can drink a whole bottle in one sitting, very easily). This may just be my all time favorite white whine. It’s also gotten the stamp of approval from many friends and family members! Fishtown White is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling. It has apple, pineapple, and floral aromas.
Be careful opening this bottle because it will be gone before you know it. Especially when you can pick this up for just $10 a bottle ($8 if you are part of their wine club)!
Good Harbor Vineyards offers 15% off any cases and 20% off any cases if you are part of their wine club, join here!
I enjoyed this wine outside on our deck with some burgers and then later in the evening for a relaxing bath. It pairs great with pasta, burgers, salads, and more.
Let me know in the comments or on Instagram if you have a favorite wine from Good Harbor Vineyards, or any other Michigan wineries, cideries, or breweries you would like me feature! Stay safe and stay inside!
