The best hidden spot in Downtown Traverse City! Perfect location, but not right in the hustle and bustle of Front St, Middle Coast has a beautiful little patio right on State St. Complete with delicious flat breads, sandwiches, and shareables, thereâs no shortage of food. Keep an eye on their website for their âYappy Hourâ nights!

All the delicious beers offered by Shortâs Brewing Co. without the drive all the way up to Bellaire! Significantly, The pull barn has ample seating both inside and outside, with outside being pet friendly for leashed dogs. Both Osorio Tacos y Salsa food truck and Flanniganâs Goat food truck are found Wednesday-Sunday and you can feel free to always bring takeout from nearby restaurants, like Jacâs Parlor!

Just 20 minutes north of downtown TC, up M-22 you can enjoy beer, wine, ciders, and locally made pop outside at picnic tables in their HUGE beer garden or in the evening around a bonfire. Indoor and outdoor seating is available on a first-come first-serve basis.
This is the perfect place for groups, families, or really anyone! Various entrees and apps can be ordered and picked up at the outside window!

A beautiful winery nestled on Old Mission Peninsula. With a gorgeous 2nd story deck, and patio seating on the ground along the vineyards, thereâs space for many to enjoy one of their delicious glasses or a flight.

A winery plus bed and breakfast, with an incredible view of the East Bay. Enjoy a caddy flight of three wines for $10 or wine by the glass on the east patio and west terrace. Food options are available as well! This is truly one of the best patios in Traverse City!

Head to Brys Estate for tons of fun. Whether you’re looking to just sit and enjoy the view of East Grand Traverse Bay while sipping on a Frozè (frozen rosè, YUM). Or take the family to a beautiful lavender garden and enjoy all things lavender, lemonade, cookies, ice cream and more! Brys Estate is perfect for it all! You can reserve seats on their gorgeous, expansive 2nd story balcony, or feel free to drop in to their lawn seats! Head down the road nearby to check out The Secret Garden for a gift shop and beautiful gardens.
Left Foot Charleyđžđď¸
Soak of the sun on their patio next sip on a glass of wine or cider (cinnamon girl is my absolute favorite cider, ever)! They also have indoor seating available if the weather isn’t cooperating or you just prefer to stay cool indoors! I think this is one of the best patios in Traverse City because it gives me such a cozy and local feel. This was one of my favorite spots to go while living in Traverse City.
Bowerâs Harborđď¸
Grab a glass or a flight and head to their covered patio while still enjoying a view of the vineyards! Bowerâs Harbor not only has a large variety of wines but many ciders as well. Indoor seating is available as well, but if you are outdoors donât fret about having to go back inside to refill, they have an outdoor bar available.

An incredibly unique and sophisticated winery, tucked away near Lake Leelanau. A gorgeous indoor seating area is available if the weather is bad, but youâll want to snag a spot outdoors overlooking the picturesque vineyards. Reservations are recommended for those looking to do a tasting, which are only done inside the tasting room.
45 North
A must-visit for those who love white wines! 45 North has a unique and beautiful interior and exterior. If you want just a flight or a few glasses, enjoy them outside on their covered patio or around the grounds right by the vines.
M22 Wines
Tucked away in Glen Arbor, right with the classic M22 store, you can grab wine or cider specialty made from Black Star Farms for M22. M22 Wines offers both large pours and wine flights are offered on the patio and wine bar. In the winter time you can reserve cozy igloos to enjoy your wine!
Glen Arbor Winesđž
A quaint, wonderful, family owned winery in Glen Arbor, this is one of my favorites! Enjoy a glass on their porch, or in the backyard which is complete with numerous games! Thereâs limited seating indoors if the weather is bad.
