Let’s Go on a Hike! Ep. 6 – Lake Ann Pathway Trail

Welcome to Let’s Go on a Hike! Here I’ll have weekly reviews on hikes throughout Michigan (and maybe beyond). Questions like: Can I trail run this path? How much parking is available? How difficult is this trail? and many more will be answered!

The Basics

Lake Ann Pathway has a few trails to choose from totaling 5.8 miles. We hiked a 1 mile loop trail with about 45 ft elevation change.

It is located at 5539 N Reynolds Rd, Lake Ann, MI 49650, in the Lake Ann State Forest Campground.

The trail is mainly in a forest and goes right up next to Lake Ann. Ample parking available right at the trail head. There is no water source available throughout this hike. The trail is wide enough for 1 person. Dogs are allowed (as long as they are leashed). There is an entrance fee, a state park recreation passport is required.
